Back on the Bandwagon

I failed to mention that I've started running again. Kevin's been dropping me off at City Center (Eagle Mountain) and I've been running/jogging (but NOT walking) my rear back to where we live, at The Ranches. Not sure why they call one section City Center and one section the Ranches since there's no shopping in City Center, but there is in the Ranches. And we certainly don't live on ranches, although that would be nice. :) Anyhow, it's about 5.5 miles, so it's a good little workout for me. There's about 10 girls from my ward/neighborhood that meet at the pool at the bottom of our hill on Saturday mornings to run it together, too. I've got some strong support around me to become the runner I once was. Wish me luck!!

Spring Break and Recovery

The toothfairy was very happy to give Kai his tooth back!!

After Spring Break in St. George, we got to have cousins with us for a week! Their momma was running in the Boston Marathon!! She finished in 3:31:39, qualifying for next year and set a personal best! Woo hoo!!

Left to Right: Kai, David, Cole, Saydria, Brayden, Jake, Amber and Luke.

Cole and Grandpa Brazier cruising on the scooter. (Kai crusing on one in the background.) When we were home, the kids were on these electric scooters, so we had to keep all 3 plugged in anytime we weren't using them!!

We just finished feeding some horses in a pasture behind my parents home and I decided to snap this picture. I'm glad I did. (Except they look really spotty from the shady tree they were standing under!!) I never said I was a photographer. :)

These are the Orange-Kissed cookies from OurBestBites.com. They turned out nice! I sampled one before I took a picture because the frosting was running over and I felt sorry for it.

Grizzlies!!

This was our intermission treat for General Conference.
I have bangs. This is me with my friend Courtney at the Grizzlies hockey game. Disclaimer: I had been doing yard work all day with the beautiful weather...and Courtney asked if our family wanted to go to the game with her and the kids with about 20 minutes notice. It was either look good or eat. Yep.

This is Saydria with her cotton candy tongue and slushee in hand. Nice. Her friend Elise is not impressed. :) They were dancing all night long trying to get onto the big screen at the game, but to no avail. The people in the boxes next to ours on either side were on camera and the people below us as well, it was killing them!!

Kai lost his first tooth! He was so excited all day at the thought of losing it, so when it finally happened, he was just thrilled! He put his tooth in a little ziploc for the toothfairy right away.
