Fun stuff

These pictures are all out of order, but you get the idea.
Kaili was also at the birthday party, but I didn't get her in any pics. :( This is from one night last week at our place. We love her to pieces.
Here's a picture of the birthday boy (Aaron) holding up his gingerbread man. His mom Brandy made a super cute cake of Red from Cars for him...and it was yum, which was a bonus.

We went to our friend's Derek & Brandy's for a little party for their son Aaron and the kids got to decorate the tastiest gingerbread men ever.
Cole was pooped out after a Christmas party. I checked on him just before I went to bed and this is what I found. He's usually on the floor next to his bed or partway under his bed. I was able to put him back in bed. :) Each morning we'll ask him where he slept and he'll say, "Big boy bed. Floor." It's funny!

Cole vacuuming in his favorite outfit. :)

We were at a local science museum and Cole and Kevin were playing with these blocks and one dropped on Cole's head. This is his mad face at Kevin. He went right back to playing after Kevin said sorry, even though Kevin had nothing to do with it.

Cookie Swap

We went to our friend Tonya's house for a fun cookie swap with a bunch of girls! There were lots of yummo cookies and all the kids enjoyed playing together and there weren't any meltdowns. It was cookie heaven. :) PS-I made Martha Stewart's marshmallow surprise cookies. They are easy and fun to make. I doubled the recipe and used a cookie scoop that is a size smaller than I normally use and it made almost 100 cookies. That's what Cole, Kai and I did after the kids got on the bus this morning.
Cheezer with cookie #2. Can you guess what color the icing was on his first sugar cookie? He was loving lunch today.

Ready to go swimming!

This is a little guy that's very excited about swimming. He did this before our trip and even now, a week later, he still wants to wear trunks over his pj's at night and trunks over his clothes during the day. He'll say, "swimming shorts. go swimming." It's pretty cute. And he loves to pose for these pictures. As soon as I break out a camera, his camera smile is ready. It's pretty funny.
