Another wiggler

Saydria has another wiggly tooth, so we are expecting it to fall out on its own while she's mushing on soggy cheerios or something (that's how the 1st one emerged), so you can count on a picture of her mouth again in about a month. :)

I'll tell you what's up!

Brayden jumping...
Saydria jumping...

Brayden and Saydria started school a week ago (3rd and 1st grades, respectively) and Kai and I have been busy doing other things when Cole is sleeping. I definitely need to prioritize and spend more time on the computer, right? :) Actually, we've had no rain for about a month (until today) and we have several trees losing leaves BIG TIME and Kai helps me rake and bag leaves while Cole is napping. Today we even trimmed up some trees that are on either side of our driveway. (trees that drop all those pink berries everywhere and make a mess of your shoes). I will post more pics later, but thanks for the harassing emails anyway. :) These are pics from when we were at Myrtle and I wanted to post them earlier, but didn't/forgot. Also, we went to another local fair and ate no food this time, just put the kids on rides. Brayden went several days in a row with his friend and their family and apparently he's a celebrity on the bull riding machine. I went on a giant slide with Kai and it felt like a roller coaster to me. Yeah, I need to get out more. And, I've still not read Breaking Dawn, I'm on the waiting list at the library because I'm too cheap to buy the book brand new. That's it for now folks!

My little cowboy is home!

Brayden returned home around 11 PM on Saturday. He had a really great time in Idaho with grandpa and grandma and with some of his uncles (Dan, Trent and Kieth) and his aunts (Jody and Jen). He enjoyed spending time on the farm and watching grandpa do surgeries on cows, shoe some horses, roping, branding and he helped with irrigation. He even set traps for some varmits and caught a couple. He had a great time going to the lake and riding and driving wave runners. Apparently, he's a crazy driver and dumped both Uncle Dan and Kieth. Uncle Trent was a little scared to ride with him, but that's expected. :) Grandpa and Grandma hooked Brayden up with the wranglers, cowboy shirt and hat. They needed to dress him for the rodeo! He also got to make a trip to Salt Lake City for a reunion on Grandma's side. He enjoyed that and loved seeing the temple and the new conference center. He was pretty amazed by it. Thank you Grandpa and Grandma for taking such good care of Brayden and for helping him to create these wonderful memories! We love you!!
Cole kissing daddy goodnight over and over as he was headed upstairs to get his teeth brushed.

Fair

We went to one of the local fairs and here's a few pics from our day. I didn't take many pics because my hands were either full of food or greasy from the food because after all, it IS the fair. This year, I was a little disappointed with the stand that I got my funnel cake from. It was really thick and only had a layer of powdered sugar on the top. I saw others with their funnel cakes and they looked normal. One layer of the actual cake and one layer of sugar. Mine was like 3 layers of cake and one layer of powdered sugar and I'm not ashamed to admit it was a little tough to eat. We did experience battered and deep fried oreos this year and they were okay. We were really happy with the strombolis and the spiral spuds, and the latter was really entertaining to watch as well. Kai playing hide and seek in the tractor park.
Saydria petting a steer and learning about it from its owner.
This was funny. Saydria wanted her picture by the turkeys and was ready for her picture to be taken. Kevin parked Cole there and so Kai decided to jump in also, and this quickly went from happy to ticked off. She got over it in like 5 seconds though.
Cole touching the steer, feeling like a cowboy or something. He was really happy every time he touched it, but I snapped it after he dropped his patented cheesy smile. :)

Zoo

Saydria cuddling up to a goat at the petting area of the zoo
Cole teasing this moray eel statue, it was pretty funny. He was just acting like it was biting him.
Cole and Kai enjoying the tiger walking in front of them. It kept turning towards them just before going the other direction, except for this time. It just walked away from us.
I just wanted to take a picture of the boys by some pretty flowers. :)

Wait no longer, toothfairy!

We are happy to report that Saydria's tooth finally made it's way out! We first discovered that it as loose on July 8. It's been a while of nagging her to just pull that tooth out! It's been a sensitive issue with our dear little girl, but this morning, she turned to me while eating her breakfast and said, "Mom, my tooth came out." Strangely, a feeling of relief came over me. The top pic shows her permanent tooth coming in pretty good.
21 baby teeth now!
