Just heard...
Saydria (on the phone): "I can't play on Friday because it's my mom and dad's funeral."
Mom: "Anniversary!"
Saydria: "Oh, sorry, it's my mom and dad's anniversary."
Kai (in the bathroom): "Holy my moly! I just let a stink bomb in here!"
Kai (snuggling with me): "I love you mom. You are my favorite little girl."
Kai (on a bike ride with me): "Mom, I just saw a sket jee!"
Me: "A sket jee, what's that?"
Kai: "You know, a sket jee. You go zooming fast on the water? A jet ski? You know what I'm talking about?"

Remember When...
This is from my friend Amy. I'm wondering if you have the same memory of me?! My memories may have easily gotten warped since then. :)
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together, or one of the first memories you have of me. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Happy Anniversary!
Kevin and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary last week! I can't believe 10 years have flown by so quickly, which only brings me to the realization that the next 10 years will go just as fast. We had a nice evening out, which we usually do each weekend anyway, but it was fun to think back on all our amazing adventures together and the wonderful friendships we've gained over time. I'm looking forward to many more years of making memories with Kevin!
Oh! Kevin and I did get to open a time capsule we put together and sealed the first year we were married. There were lots of cards and letters, pictures, a journal of sorts, and some other fun things. We did find tucked in a card from my friend Julia, a check that we didn't know existed. I must have not seen it when we first opened the card when we were married. It was pretty funny.

Trip to Colorado
Cole enjoying a bath with his cousin. We had a fun time visiting, the week went way too quickly!
Cole having a good time exploring Casa Bonita, a Mexican restaurant in Denver. There were cliff divers, games and lots of things to explore at this family friendly restaurant.
Cole liked looking at the tarantulas as the butterfly pavilion in Denver. I took Brayden to this same place when he was around this age and he enjoyed it also.
This is my brother Tim and his wife Karrie, and their son Ethan.
This is Cole with his Bacon cousins: Ethan, Kira and Toni.
L to R: Tim, Kira, Toni, Randall, Stephanie and Cole. Cole and I flew to Denver on Monday and spent the week with my brothers Randall and Tim. Tim and his family live in Colorado. Randall and his family live in Missouri and they were making the trek to CO for the first time, so we all met up at Tim's house. We had a great time, it had been since Saydria was a little baby that we all got to be together. We've traveled to both of their places on several occasions and it's always so nice to see them again. Kevin stayed home with the other 3 kids and seemed to have a pretty good time. He had made dinner reservations for us at Genji shortly after our plane landed, so it was nice surprise after lots of traveling!
